    Affiliate program

Recommend PlotWrite, earn 25% for a year

PlotWrite's affiliate program pays you 25% of what the writers you bring in pay for their first 12 months, and they get a 14-day free trial. If you write serials, or make videos, podcasts or guides for people who do, share your PlotWrite link.

PlotWrite (plotwrite.ink) is a web app for LitRPG and progression fantasy web serial authors that reads their chapters, keeps every stat, rank and promise straight, and catches contradictions before readers do. Every feature

You need a PlotWrite account to apply. A free trial account is fine.

    The short version

What you get, what they get

    • 25% for 12 months

Of every payment a writer you refer makes in the 12 months after their first payment, monthly or annual.

    • A 14-day trial for your readers

New accounts from your link get 14 days free instead of 7. No card needed.

    • Paid monthly

Once your approved balance is over $25, by PayPal or UPI.

    • Links count for 60 days

A writer who clicks your link and signs up within 60 days, in the same browser, counts as yours.

    How it works

    Three steps

    1. 1

      Apply

In your PlotWrite account settings: choose your code (it becomes your link) and add a PayPal email or UPI id for payouts.

    2. 2

      We review it

The program is for writers and creators whose audience is serial authors, and who have used PlotWrite on their own chapters. We review every application by hand.

    3. 3

      Share your link

Once you're approved, your settings show your link, the writers who signed up through it, and what you've earned.

    The terms

The fine print, in plain words

    Commission
25% of each payment a writer you referred makes during the 12 months after their first payment. After 12 months, their payments no longer earn a commission.
    Who counts as your referral
A new PlotWrite account created through your link, or within 60 days of clicking it in the same browser. Accounts that already existed don't count. If a writer clicks more than one affiliate's link, the latest one counts.
    Payouts
Monthly, by PayPal or UPI, once your approved balance is over $25 (a smaller balance carries over). A month's commissions are approved once the refund window has passed and paid by the end of the following month.
    Refunds and chargebacks
A refunded or charged-back payment earns nothing. If its commission was already paid, it comes off your next payout.
    No self-referrals
Your own accounts, and accounts made by you or your household through your link, don't count. We check, and commissions on them are cancelled.
No paid ads on our name
Don't bid on "PlotWrite", "plotwrite.ink" or misspellings of them in Google, Bing or any other ad network, and don't run ads that use our name to send people to your link.
    Disclose your link
Whenever you share your link, say that you earn a commission if people subscribe. On YouTube, also turn on the paid-promotion setting.
    Follow each community's rules
Royal Road, Reddit and Discord self-promotion rules apply to you. Don't post your link in Royal Road forums or author notes unless Royal Road staff have said it's allowed.
    Honest claims only
Talk about what PlotWrite does today: the story brain, stat sheets, the chapter check and planning. Don't promise rankings, followers or income, don't say AI-drafted chapters need no AI tag, and don't use made-up numbers or testimonials.
    Ending or changing the program
We can pause or end an affiliate who breaks these terms. Commissions earned within the rules before then are still paid. We'll email affiliates before we change these terms.

    FAQ

What will writers ask you about PlotWrite?

The questions affiliates get most, with answers you can pass on as they are.
How much do PlotWrite affiliates earn?
25% of each payment a writer you referred makes in the 12 months after their first payment: $3.50 of a $14 Storyteller month, or $60 of a $240 Architect year.
Is there a free trial for the writers I refer?
Yes. Writers who sign up through your link get 14 days free instead of 7, with everything included and no card needed.
    What is PlotWrite?
PlotWrite (plotwrite.ink) is a web app for LitRPG and progression fantasy web serial authors that reads the chapters you write, keeps every stat, rank, skill and promise in a Story brain timed by chapter, and catches contradictions before your Royal Road readers do. You write; drafting with AI is optional. It runs on your own AI: your ChatGPT or Claude subscription, an API key, or a model on your own computer.Every featurePlotWrite for LitRPG
Can I use my ChatGPT or Claude subscription?
Yes. Add PlotWrite as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT and sign in once. Your plan runs the model, so there are no credits to buy and no API key. Anthropic and OpenAI decide which plans can add connectors, and Auto-write needs an API key or Connect OpenRouter because it runs in the background. The three ways to connect AI
Do I need an AI tag on Royal Road if I use PlotWrite?
Not for memory, checks and planning. Royal Road's AI policy says back-office help such as brainstorming and research doesn't need mentioning, and that is what the Story brain, canon check and Plan do. If you paste AI-written text into a chapter, from Draft with AI, Auto-write or a chat, Royal Road asks for an AI tag. Tag-free mode hides every tool that writes prose.Every feature, mapped to the policy
How is PlotWrite different from Sudowrite or NovelCrafter?
Sudowrite and NovelCrafter are good AI writing apps, but you keep their Story Bible or Codex up to date by hand, and neither checks your chapters against canon. PlotWrite builds LitRPG stat sheets from the chapters you've written, checks each chapter against what was true at that point, and runs on your ChatGPT or Claude plan. NovelCrafter says subscriptions can't be used with it, and Sudowrite runs on its own credits. The full comparisonPlotWrite vs SudowritePlotWrite vs NovelCrafter
Does PlotWrite train AI on my chapters?
No. PlotWrite never uses your story to train AI models, and you own 100% of what you write. When you use AI, the text a request needs goes to the AI you chose (ChatGPT, Claude or your API provider) under that provider's own terms. With LM Studio it stays on your computer. How we handle your story
