What is a world-building bible for a cultivation novel?
It is a private reference document that records every rule and named thing in your world, so chapter 150 agrees with chapter 5. For cultivation it has seven sections: realms, sects and factions, techniques, the qi system, Dao paths, bloodlines and treasures. If you need names while you build it, the free cultivation realm generator, technique name generator and sect name generator give you starting points.
Section 1: How do you define a cultivation realms ladder?
Define every realm from Qi Refining to whatever your endgame is. Lock the breakthrough requirements, the typical age range, and the power gap between adjacent realms. This is the spine, and everything else hangs off it.
Section 2: How do you track sects and factions?
Per sect: leader, alignment, signature technique, current goal, MC's relationship. Sects are the political fabric; tracking them prevents 'wait, weren't they enemies last arc?' issues.

Sections 3-7: What goes in techniques, qi, Dao, bloodlines and treasures?
Techniques: name, grade, prerequisites, MC's mastery level. Qi system: how qi gathers, refines, condenses. Dao: which dao paths exist, who pursues them. Bloodlines: which characters have what bloodline + dormant/awakened state. Treasures: name, grade, owner, current state.
Why does a self-updating bible matter for a long cultivation serial?
Cultivation novels generate a lot of lore, and a hand-kept bible tends to fall behind once the cast and realm list grow. PlotWrite's Story brain gets built from the chapters you've already written: it reads them on your own AI and proposes characters, sects, techniques and realm facts. Proposed facts wait for your approval in the Inbox, and each fact is timed by chapter, so a character's realm reads "Foundation Establishment from ch 41" instead of a guess. You write; PlotWrite remembers, and the canon check catches a realm going backwards before your readers do.
If you want to see the AI-tag side of this, memory and consistency checks count as back-office help under Royal Road's policy (see Royal Road's AI policy explained).
